Happy Birthday To Ty Guy

Today is Tyler's 7th Birthday! I can't believe how much he has grown! Here are seven things about Tyler:
1. He is the most patient kid.
2. He has the sweetest spirit.
3. He loves to play soccer.
4. He is in the middle of four girls. So he is going to either have allot of patients with girls, or none at all.
5. He loves star wars.
6. He loves to make friends.
7. He is always the peacemaker!

I could go on and on! I love you Tyler and I am so proud to have you as my son! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! We hope that you have a GREAT day! WE love you little buddy!!! Now let's get the party started!!!!!

Where did the Summer Go! We had allot of fun but we are sad that it is all over, way to fast. I guess we will have to do some fun stuff in the fall, because it is one of my favorite seasons! Here are some pictures of some of our recent fun!~

Grandpa's Funeral

On Saturday August 16th we layed my grandpa to rest. We honored him for his service in the Army and we payed him the respect that he deserved. The services were very beautiful. There were allot of stories that were shared that made everyone realize what a character my grandpa was and I wanted to share a story with you.

As a young child my grandfather grew up in a very small town. One Friday afternoon at school him and his class mates were taking a test on this particular day and one of his classmates accused him of cheating off her paper. The teacher confronted him in front of the whole class and he told her that he had not been cheating, she told him to go get in the broom closet and think about what he had done. As he sat there he looked around and he discovered that there was an access hole out of the closet so he crawled, and as he crawled he discovered that it lead him outside and he went home. On Monday morning he got up earlier than anyone else and he went and crawled back into the hole and back into the broom closet. When class started he started knocking on the door to have his teacher let him out, well to her surprise there he was and she thought that he had been in there the whole weekend. He didn't really like the teacher so he didn't tell her otherwise and in later years my grandfather ran into her and she was still apologizing for it and he just kept his little secret.

I learned so much about my grandpa that I didn't know before. As I live on and surround myself with the people that loved him, I am sure I will continue to learn so much more about my Grandpa. I cherish all of those moments that i got to share with him through the years. I love You Grandpa..... until we meet again.

The Angels are Rejoicing

One sad day here on earth but the angels are rejoicing on the other side because, one of the most special people on the earth just returned home. My grandpa Greenhalgh just returned home from this earth after a long 90 years here on earth. I was really selfish because I didn't want to release him to let him go on to the other side. We spent some long hours at the hospital last night and his tired body just gave up. We were all there to tell him goodbye and he was reassuring us that he was going to be okay, that he was ready to be reunited with my grandma. He told us that there were allot of people there in the room with us, and that it would be okay. He had a very sharp mind and he was able to take care of himself at his age. I know that there is a reunion going on on the other side and everyone is so happy to see him. I love him so much and he is one of my heroes. He is going to be missed so much..........until we meet again Grandpa....I LOVE YOU!

I guess I am Reading the Twilight

Yes That is right Crystal finally started a blog so now I have to read the twilight series, all four books OH NO what did I get myself into. Happy Birthday Brian or Unbirthday I should say

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Husband! He is such a sweet easy going guy. I just love him. Well yesterday was his Birthday and he was down in the dumps. We got up and we were going to go to the zoo. We were getting ready and he realized he was on call so he cannot be more than 15 minutes away from work.....so that ended that idea. He was kind of feeling bad because nobody had called him to wish him a Happy Birthday or even acknowledged that it was his birthday except for the kids and I of course. We ended up going to dinner and coming home and going on our nightly walk. When we got home he decided that he wanted some Carrot cake so him and I hopped in the car and went to get him some cake, well our trip was shortly ended because of a deer deciding that he needed to use the road more than we did. We slammed the deer right in the middle of the road it hit the hood of our car and launched it into the air. I have never experienced anything like that in my whole life. We were both pretty shook up, but we found it pretty humorous after it was all said and done!!! He still wanted to go get his Birthday cake after the highway patrolman gave us the go ahead to leave. I think that even though it had been a crappy birthday thanks to his wife that didn't really plan anything(ooopppppss! I guess I won't try the spontaneous thing again) it will definitely be a birthday to remember!!! Happy Birthday Honey, I really do love you allot!!!
